One of the topics discussed during the event were the opportunities and threats that come with the presence of drones in cities, and the unquestionable need for their large-scale introduction in the near future, especially in areas where there is a critical need to accelerate the supply chain – mainly in the medical sector.
The schedule for the final day of Droniada included debates about the current conditions of the drone market in Poland and the future of this technology in our country, presentations of products from national leaders in the UAS industry, as well as dynamic drone flight demonstrations.
Representatives of Polish drone companies participated in the debate ‘The future of medical drone services in cities – special applications, S&R actions, medical drone transport from the perspective of market participants’ On behalf of @SpartaqsGroup, Sławomir Huczała, the chief designer and owner of the company, spoke, emphasizing the necessity of simplifying procedures at the institutional level, creating ground infrastructure and above all defining safe drone highways – permanent routes, which drones could fly without the need for each time conducting safety analyses, carrying out, among others, transport services.
During the dynamic demonstrations, we presented droneoids that are part of the Drone Transport System (DTS), Spartaqs’ proprietary solution – the Hermes transport droneoid, capable of making quick deliveries of small packages weighing up to 10 kg, and the Heracles transport droneoid that can carry a load in a cargo container weighing up to 50 kg.
