On September 19-20, 2020 the 2nd AVIATION EXPO 2020 Aviation Fair was held in Kielce, the subject of which were the latest technological innovations and the entire spectrum of the market. Apart from the exhibition part of AVIATION EXPO, there were lectures, conferences and meetings concerning the aviation and drone industry.
Based on cooperation with the Department of Armaments of the Kielce University of Technology, Spartaqs presented the latest technological capabilities of its own dronoids for the implementation of complex tasks in transport, logistics and defense.
In the presentation entitled. “New hybrid drone technologies in transport, logistics and other areas. Examples of the latest solutions and trends.” was presented, among others a report from the first successful test of the nationwide parcel distribution system. The packages were delivered by dronoids Hermes V8C and Vector V4C to the Muchowiec airport in Katowice, from where they were transported by the Eagle Wings Sirius plane to their destination, to the airport in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The HERMES V8MT dronoid with the Civil Aviation Authority’s approval for automatic out-of-sight (BVLOS) flights in urban space (U-Space) with the side number SP-YHMS was presented, which on board carried samples for testing for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus between two hospitals – the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw at Wołoska st., and the Central Clinical Hospital of the UCK WUM at Banacha Street.
In addition to DST – Drone Transport System, the following were also presented:
- operation of the Hermes V8MD dronoid – Mine Detector, which was created as a support unit in sapper operations, in conflict-affected areas and in zones for neutralizing misfires and artillery munitions,
- the first antiseptic spraying in Poland with the use of the Heracles V8ASD dronoid – disinfection at the Market Square in Katowice.
- and the ANTARES anti-ballistic shield system using rocket-powered dronoids.
