“We want to encourage entrepreneurs to enter more risky markets than European markets,” said Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, opening the First Polish Business Support Forum Abroad – PAIH EXPO 2018, which took place on October 25, 2018. at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
Over 6,000 Polish companies planning or already implementing foreign expansion participated in the forum, including representatives of Spartaqs. Participants could obtain information about selected foreign markets, local priority industries, establish business relationships, identify potential partners, and also broaden their knowledge about market entry barriers, business culture on a given market and about locally available support instruments.
“Polish products are of high quality, and the state’s support for small and medium-sized enterprises will certainly contribute to the increase in recognition of Polish products on foreign markets. Greater awareness of market requirements in different regions of the world is the first step to start exporting “- said Aleksandra Borowska, President of Spartaqs
“Today in the era of the so-called The 4th industrial revolution, said the Minister, Poland has a chance to take part in it with full rights. (…) We have human capital (…), IT specialists, engineers, they are the best specialists in the world today (…). We have flexible, agile, success-hungry entrepreneurs (…) ”
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency meets the needs of Polish business abroad, aims to increase the inflow of foreign direct investments to Poland and supports them in overcoming administrative procedures, finding the right location, reliable partners and suppliers. In 12 thematic pavilions, each region of the world was presented by experts from 56 PAIH Foreign Trade Offices.
“We also want to support Polish exporters in non-European markets, which is conceived as a policy of diversification and defense against the changing economic cycles in Europe” – emphasized Tomasz Pisula, president of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
