On June 16-17, 2017, the Robots Parade – Droniada 2017 took place at the Cracow Aero Club in Pobiednik Wielki (Lesser Poland). The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Cracow, Jacek Majchrowski, Head of the National Security Bureau Paweł Soloch, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration Jaroslaw Zieliński and the Ministry of Development.
The Spartaqs company took part in the organization of the Robots Parade – Droniada as the Sponsor of the event and as the substantive Partner of the Mikromakro Institute.
One of the main events of Droniada 2017 was an academic competition: “DRONES + BIKONS + CRISIS MANAGEMENT = INNOVATIONS OF THE INTERNET THINGS” . 8 academic teams from 6 leading Polish universities of technology entered the competition. The High Flyers – Academic Scientific Association won the Droniada competition. The team won the Main Prize worth PLN 10,000, funded by the Mikromakro Institute Foundation thanks to the partnership with the City of Cracow and the Honorary Award of the Head of the National Security Office.
Spartaqs admited the Special Prize for the winning team – racing drone, and several additional material prizes.
