University lecturers and students attended the ceremony. Among the honorary guests was the Spartaqs company (a leading company in the @Spartaqs Group consortium), which, according to the concluded agreement, conducts research with the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz on improving the efficiency of existing and creating new Spartaqs solutions in the design and production of unmanned systems autonomous, flying, swimming and riding.<\/p>\n
In his inaugural speech, the Rector of the University prof. dr hab. In\u017c. Tomasz Topoli\u0144ski pointed to technologies related to drones and unmanned systems, which he classified as important areas of the University’s activity in the beginning academic year. Part of the Rector’s speech was footage about the achievements of UTP, which was filmed in large part with the help of drones.<\/p>\n

The solemn atmosphere of matriculation of first-year students, awarding medals to distinguished academic staff of the University and the most outstanding students was emphasized by the inaugural lecture of J\u00f3zef Eliasz entitled “Constructions in music” and the performance of the Akdemic choir led by Agnieszka Sowa.
